A winter adventure on snowshoes to the old, snowy spruce forest and icicles of Koli’s Uro Gorge. On the way back, we stop to admire Koli’s magnificent views from its highest peaks: Ukko-Koli, Akka-Koli and Paha-Koli. The excursion begins with a short introduction to snowshoeing techniques, so no previous experience is required. Walking with snowshoes is easy and fun and allows you to experience pristine nature up close.
During the tour, the guide shares stories about Koli, its history, and its nature. There is also time for peaceful observation of the surrounding environment. Along the way, you will experience Koli’s magical snow-laden forests, the joy of moving in the snow, and the fresh, pure winter air. During the excursion, we enjoy a light snack and hot berry juice served in traditional Kupilka outdoor cups. Welcome to explore Koli’s national landscape on snowshoes!
